A True expression of place, patience, and grain. Crafted entirely under our roof in the Hunter Valley, Terrior redefines Australian single malt through an ambituous, five-grain all-malted mash bill.
Rather than relying solely on conventional barley, Terroir weaves five distinct malted grains into a single cohesive spirit: sweet Compass barley, spicy Vampire rye, velvety malted oats, soft wheat, and rustic triticale. Triple pot distilled to achieve exceptional purity while preserving the character of each grain, the spirit enters select ex-bourbon casks at 61.1% ABV.
Over three years in the dynamic Hunter Valley climate, the whiskey breathes deeply into the oak, emerging around 59% ABV with a rich "Bourbon X" maturity profile. Gently brought to a bottling strength of 47% ABV using pure reverse-osmosis water and left non-chill filtered, Terroir retains every natural oil and aromatic ester for an uncompromised, full-bodied mouthfeel.
Nose: Warm vanilla bean and toasted oak give way to spiced rye bread, roasted cereal, and subtle orchard fruit.
Palate: Viscous and rich. Creamy malted oat texture carries layers of sweet caramel, baking spice, cracked pepper from the rye, and biscuit sweetness from the triticale.
Finish: Long, warming, and deliberate, lingering on toasted grain, dark honey, and gentle oak spice.

Loved it. Regalia was a tough act to follow but you've nailed it.
Great tasting, great finish.
